Paint and surface inspection
We inspect oxidation, staining, remaining gloss, access and sensitive areas before recommending correction.
Equipment paint restoration · British Columbia
Mobile finish assessment, oxidation correction, machine polishing and ceramic protection for faded heavy equipment and commercial assets.
01 — RESTORE BEFORE REPLACE
UV exposure, oxidation, staining and harsh cleaning can leave equipment paint flat and chalky. We assess what healthy finish remains, prepare the surface properly and choose a correction process that targets the actual condition of the paint.
We inspect oxidation, staining, remaining gloss, access and sensitive areas before recommending correction.
Grease, road film and bonded contamination are removed so correction can begin on a properly prepared surface.
Machine-polishing steps are selected to improve colour, clarity and gloss without promising results the paint cannot support.
The corrected surface can be finished with protection selected for the asset, environment and maintenance plan.
02 — THE RESTORATION PROCESS
A coating does not remove oxidation or repair neglected paint. The finish must be cleaned, corrected and prepared before protection is applied. That order is what creates a clearer result and gives the protective layer a proper surface to bond to.
Protection preserves the work underneath it—it does not replace the preparation.
We determine whether restoration is realistic and identify areas that may require different treatment.
The asset is cleaned thoroughly so grease, film and bonded contamination do not interfere with polishing.
A test area helps establish the polishing combination before correction proceeds across the asset.
The corrected finish is prepared for the selected sealant or ceramic protection package.
03 — WHEN RESTORATION FITS
Paint restoration is most effective when fading and oxidation are present but enough viable finish remains to correct. The assessment matters because severe failure, thin paint or damaged coatings can limit what polishing can safely achieve.
Recover colour and gloss where UV exposure has left panels chalky, dull or uneven.
Improve the finish before a machine is listed, delivered or returned to customer-facing service.
Add a protective finish after correction to make ongoing cleaning and appearance care more manageable.
04 — COMMON QUESTIONS
Clear photos in direct light help us assess oxidation and finish condition before an on-site inspection.
No. Results depend on the amount and condition of paint that remains. We assess the finish first and explain whether correction is realistic or repainting is the better option.
No. Oxidation and finish defects need to be corrected before a coating is applied. Ceramic protection is the final step after cleaning, correction and surface preparation.
Yes. The service is intended for heavy equipment, commercial vehicles and other suitable painted assets after the surface has been assessed.
Yes. Innov8 Detail is mobile and self-contained. The work area, weather, lighting and required curing conditions are reviewed when planning the job.
Pricing depends on asset size, paint condition, access, preparation, correction steps and the protection package selected. Photos and an inspection are used to build the scope.
